About Me

Concert photography is my passion.

"Michael takes some of the best live rock pics I've see! Let him focus his lens on your band." (Gary Kemp, Spandau Ballet & Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets)

(Angelika Stelter, Honeytruck)

"Einer der besten Konzertfotografen überhaupt." (Sonic Temper)

Michael Buch / Oyten, Northern Germany

I've always been interested in music and in photography. Back in 2013, I got lucky and could combine both. Since then, I have shot nearly 700 bands live on stage and have become a contributer for one of the oldest german online music magazines, Whiskey-Soda. I capture the great moments of every rock show and make the memory live on when the music has faded away.

I've shot a lot of local bands and some bigger names. Here are some of the artists / bands that I have already shot: And One, Accept, Ace Frehley, Alestorm, Arena, Avantasia, Barb Wire Dolls, Between The Buried And Me, Big Big Train, Blues Pills, Carl Palmer, Chis Thompson, Combichrist, Culcha Candela, Cynic, Deine Lakaien, Devin Townsend, Donots, Dragonforce, Dropkick Murphys, Eisbrecher, Epica, Focus, Gotthard, Haken, Hawkwind, In Extremo, JBO, Kadavar, Katzenjammer, Kreator, Leprous, Lordi, Majesty, Marillion, Metal Church, New Model Army, Nick Mason, Orden Ogan, Periphery, Primal Fear, Ray Wilson, Saltatio Mortis, Saxon, Skid Row, Sonata Arctica, Spock's Beard, Subway To Sally, Tankard, Transatlantic, Van Canto, Within Temptation, Yes and many more.

Festivals include RockHarz, Night Of The Prog Loreley, M'era Luna, Feuertal and Euroblast.
